Poppy - Unravel
87

this is a great song. i love the dnb influence, also the chorus chord progression is one of my favourite sounds in music. i agree with a lot of people that it would be cool to switch styles up again, but honestly as long as the songs are good i don’t mind staying in this era of poppy. she’s no longer a strange performance artist with metal as a gimmick, she’s a genuine metal artist and this might just be what she wants to do now

Hail the Sun - Wake
92

one of my favourite albums i discovered this year

Qbomb - Everything Is Fine (The Living Tombstone Remix)
28

actually hilariously bad. the music video was great though

Qbomb - First Impact
92

objectively terrible quality, but these are some of my favourite songs ever so i don’t really care. album versions are better but i’ve got nostalgia for these versions

Machine Girl - Dread Architect
95

the guitars sound so amazing, machine girl with metal breakdowns is exactly what i needed in my life

94

actually terrifying at points, but also some very catchy songs

Teenage Disaster - Inside
94

his best song in a while. incredibly excited for smile

Teenage Disaster - 7th floor
71

pretty good. bit of a weird choice for first single though

Poppy - Negative Spaces
88

if you actually listened to this album and think it isn’t metal you’re just a misogynist

Evanescence - Fallen
84

this album is very good and evanescence is underrated. also whisper is one of the best tracks on the whole album idk why so many people rate it lower. my immortal is incredible and the band version is a masterpiece

The Living Tombstone - Step On Up
82

i like it. i really didn’t want to, and i was hoping they were done with fnaf songs forever, but i enjoy this.

FLAVOR FOLEY - Spoken For
90

i hope jamie’s doing alright, these songs are getting increasingly dire and specific 😭

FLAVOR FOLEY - weathergirl
95

i love this song

FLAVOR FOLEY - rawdog
0

i genuinely hate this song

Hail the Sun - War Crimes
83

the mixing is absolutely fucked but pure composition wise this is awesome

Finch - Say Hello to Sunshine
89

i like this album a lot more than what it is to burn. pretty much everything is improved, from the production, lyrics, and composition. i especially love ink and bitemarks and bloodstains

Finch - What It Is to Burn
55

perhaps i was just not in the mood. it was still overall enjoyable (hence why its not a negative score), but i did not enjoy much of this. i actually loved ender, but then it just kept fucking going for another 8 minutes for no reason. project mayhem had me on the verge of tears. not because it was good, but because it was so confusingly unenjoyable that i nearly gave up listening. letters to you and post script are pretty cool though

Just Like Vinyl - Just Like Vinyl
80

a lot of post hardcore guys from back in the day fucking hated this album and i don’t really get it. it’s not the same as the fall of troy, but this album is its own unique cool thing. i like it a lot

The Fall of Troy - Doppelgänger
97

this was just one of those times where and album instantly clicks for me. pretty incredible honestly. from the first second the vocals kicked in on track one i knew i was gonna love this

Cinema Staff - PLASTIC YOUTH
80

not a masterpiece like kaitei, but I love this band. some of the trap stuff is a little weird, but this is still a great sounding exciting rock album. I'm not disappointed at all
