i think it’s a pleasant listen all the way through, but as the months have passed since listening my first listen all the way through the songs just haven’t stuck with me at all, and have hardly become distinguishable from one another aside from a few. singles were the strongest songs, but even then i only hear them when out (and to be fair im generally happy to), never because ive had the urge to press play. kim at her best. all the swag of the kim we fell in love with plus all the wisdom from her tumultuous past few years in the music industry converge in her most fearless work yet. one of my favorites of the entire decade and in recent pop generally, i can tell this one’s gonna be with me for my best nights, runs, etc for the next while.
