It has been a minute since I have listened to Ghostminus so let's see what they have to offer in their latest EP.
Tiramisu Cake:
A lovely shoegazey instrumental that keeps basic but effective. Not bad, liked the vibe, but it could easily be more to it. (60)
Unfiltered:
Good switch up to focus on the drums for a change in scenery. Then to have it nicely compliment the guitar as it returns is very appreciated. It's a cool dynamic with the guitar and drums but overall isn't all that engaging past a chill vibe. (65)
Missing Report:
We have some moody synths and sharp rhythmic drums with a beat to top it off. It's a vibe to be sure but again it's just a simple vibe track with little substance. (60)
At the End of the Day:
Definitely the most complex and engaging tracks so far. We got bass a plenty with solid drumming and synths. Add some moody distorted vocals and here you have a whole ass mood. Definitely feeling like Snoopy with this one. (70)
Daybreak:
We finish off the brief EP with some melancholic guitar strumming with non aggressive static. Some distorted drums as well. Like the electric guitar on the second half filling in the sound a bit more. Could use some vocals though since it feels incomplete. Not a bad way to finish the EP though. (60)
Overall it's a decent effort with only one track having a lasting impression on me. Good work Ghost, looking forward to what you may have next.
