Listening to a number of albums in alphabetical order #7:

Up next we got a double D in Dimension by Daoko. I have to scroll for like a minute straight just to get to D I got WAY too many albums saved there's no possible way to listen to them all. Anyways this one caught my eye and have no idea what to expect so let's just dive in I guess...

Wtf. I have heard and apparently liked "Psychedelic/OKOK" before. I do remember this tune it's just been a couple years at least since I heard it. It's a strange unique tune. Kinda disturbing yet dreamy. Truly fascinating song I hope you check it out. A lot of this album has a strange surreal feeling to it. Pretty otherworldly at times with its alien atmosphere and the dreamy vocals of Daoko. Definitely the kind of shit I was addicted to during the fallout of the pandemic. As I was also neck deep into my fascination with the Backrooms and everything that is considered a liminal space. Two years later and I still am completely enamored by surrealist bullshit and music like some tracks here that focus on this kinda deal still has their effect. Especially with how batshit insane America has been it only makes sense I find this kind of stuff comforting. Hopefully you enjoy this as well.
