I have been looking forward to hearing more Patti! I am so excited to see if she can keep up the quality from her last two albums...

Till Victory:
A triumphant start to the album! Oh how I missed her unique voice! It's pretty standard Patti at this point, so while I am not particularly impressed, I still enjoyed myself with this.

Space Monkey:
"That son of a bitch over there is not a Banana!"
Now THIS is the Patti that I know and love so much! Weird lyrics? Check! Passionate singing? Check! A blast to listen to? Double check! She's back and better than ever!

Because the Night:
A love song burning with passion! God Damn it may be simple but our girl does it so effectively! I think I said before that the more I hear Patti, the more I love her. If not I am saying it now! Keep it up girl!!!

Ghost Dance:
Can we have a bonfire in the woods and dance around it naked while chanting this song to the heavens?

DAMN!!!! That was fantastic! Almost hypnotic! I may have a new favorite Patti Smith song! That chorus is going to be stuck in my head I already know it!

Babelouge:
Preach Patti Preach! Man if only that build up at the end transitioned smoothly into the next song. It would have been SO GOOD!

Privilege:
The pleading! The desperation! The Emotions! I can't get enough!!! Radio Ethiopia was going to be hard to top, but if she keeps this up, it may not only be a 100, not only will it most likely be my AOTY for 1978, it may genuinely be one of my all time favorites!

We Three:
I am SO captivated by this song! I was hanging off of every word she sang! God DAMN that ending tho!

25th Floor/High on Rebellion:
Well that was quick. Ghost Dance has been surpassed by these two songs. That was fucking AWESOME! Patti is a straight up QUEEN at this point. God damn this album is amazing! Hopefully she finishes it strong!

Easter:
Absolute perfection. WOW.

This Album. THIS ALBUM! How does she keep topping herself? It's insane!!! Yeah this is an all time favorite. I am going to have MANY relistens of this masterpiece for years to come. What an album!!!

@Ananabelela YouTube Music didn't have the song in question available and skipped over it like it never existed. I didn't question it and listened to the next song. Haven't listened to this album in awhile so who knows if I would still consider it a 100 on relisten. I do remember having an absolute blast with it though.

@OldTask you can search it on YouTube. It’s actually one of my favorites on it, and I’m sad that it’s only lowly rated bc of the hard r

It’s a great song, one of my favorites on the album. But they removed it from all streaming services without her knowing, she found out later and called it bs, the live version and Marilyn Manson’s cover are still up which obviously shows that there’s some extreme corporate bias. Plus MM did it just for the shock and controversy, yeah Patti did it for the shock sort of, but it was the 70s and the actual message of the song is anything but racist. Nobody should ever right mindedly make a song like that nowadays, it would be beyond distasteful, disrespectful and genuinely offensive in a modern setting, regardless of what your intentions are.
