Oh no... I have very limited experience with Sludge metal and the little amount of exposure with this subgenre was not the most pleasant for me. I have listened to a bunch of metal since then so maybe this wouldn't be as harsh to my battered and bruised ears this time around...
Ok I made it to the other side, and I have learned that I am now dead enough inside after being bombarded by extreme metal this past half year that I can at least tolerate this. Definitely still not for me but at least I am not appalled by its extreme nature anymore.

Woops my bad, I was thinking of Grindcore but associated Sludge with it. Apparently I have always been tolerant at best over this subgenre, so whatever I guess. Still don't have much exposure to this subgenre either so maybe in due time I will gradually warm up to it. Who knows, time will tell.
