tsubi club has already worked his ass off making the absolute best thing ever for burbank house and laced up and ima be honest theres just no topping those songs. so in a way its kind of a good thing he surprise dropped this to not get expectations up. is it as catchy as bh and lu? definitely not. but theres some cool soundscapes at parts and theres certain songs that are pretty great vibes and catchy enough in their own right. feels lower effort but again he set such a high bar already so its ... read more
ninajirachi and underscores blessed us with maximalist electropop but some new name ive never heard of just topped both and im here for it. her vocals are always in control of the beat despite how hyperactive some of these beats are. glitchy, loud, obnoxious, but intentional. what a vulnerable, consistent, and fun album
favs: no luck, same la, copycat, pretty4u, american girl, farewell toledo, breakup, everything ive ever wanted
least fav: none 💚

had high expectations for this because of the feature list and i think it delivers. danny brown has been featuring on underground hyperpop left and right lately, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that he's tapped in to this wave. overall, the album is pretty fun and out there
favs: copycats, what you see, ilovemylife, whatever the case, baby, green light
