This is so Madonna-coded, in a good way, obviously. First things first, girl! What's with these interludes? So many of them—they are great, I just didn't expect that. Visually, a great piece of a project. I think I see Agnes' vision, and I enjoyed it.
First review this year… Anyway, as a non–A$AP Rocky fan, I enjoyed this project. I don’t understand those mixed reviews. It’s a great combination of different genres. I'll be back after relisten.
She only added the word "showgirl" in the title, and nothing else has changed compared to her previous albums, which all sound the same. Let me preempt the typical interjections from blinded fans like: “I cry to Shake It Off and dance to All Too Well.” I’m not saying the tempos are identical, but the instrumentals and the monotony of Taylor’s vocal tone make her albums often blur into one another.
