My favorite aspect of Namitape is the consistency across their entire discography. Across its 28-minute runtime, Namitape’s signature upbeat Vocaloid sound creates a clear and consistent atmosphere. This turned out to be much better than I had originally thought. I prefer these vocals over some of his past releases, and the overall vibes of the tracks make for a pleasant listening experience.
I'm probably the wrong demographic for this. Overall it was pretty hit or miss from track to track. Despite that I gotta say I love the mix of genres in this, really kept things interesting throughout my listen.
Feels like a kludge of all his previous albums with an attempt to make something danceable, but it really doesn't do much in that sector. Not a bad continuation for Tyler, but he can certainly do better.
We'll see if this grows on me, it's very well made and I enjoyed most of the tracks
