I have no strong opinions on Coldplay in general. I can enjoy them but I’d never put them on myself. This is a fine album, it sounded exactly like I expected it to and that sound was fine for what it is.
Super sentimental. It feels like the lead singer is spilling their heart as they sing… with an insane vibrato. I didn’t like their voice at first, but I grew to enjoy it pretty quickly. And the guest appearances are pretty cool, since they change things up a bit in the midst of an album that might’ve sounded a bit too samey if not for that.
