its interesting to hear the different cadences used on some songs
but just listen to the original

my hating ass decided to give humble man himself a try

its not terrible at all, it's good
its not mind blowing but it's impressive that he was basically alone on this album when it comes to the making process so it does feel personal
I will always think making your own music is better than someone else rapping over your beat
but I just don't like his singing

Kendrick Lamar is one of the few rappers out there, shit maybe the only rapper, who has listeners of people who don't enjoy rap. there's something about this man who will have rock listeners come to him, indie, pop, any type of genre, people will hear "Kendrick dropped" and stop whatever they were doing and listen to it.
