A really strong album honestly, drags slightly, but lovesick boy prays makes it all worth it, and dog eyes makes it by the end.
idk what everyone else is listening to, to each their own, but i havent fallen in love with an album so deeply in a while, this is up there for aoty for me.
maybe i just dont get it, think it might be too minimalist for me? havest sky is great tho
their best imo, ascending fourth is perfect, unpredictable and unreplicateable.
Its easy to listen to and has some really nice tracks on it, an album doesnt have to be groundbreaking for it to be great, i think this is really great- let fate be proud is such a wonderful song
Idk what it is, this album is just good, and works on so many levels, its not groundbreaking, but its an underapprieciated alt rock album that i always find myself coming back to.
I prefer this twangy direction for him, more alt country, but it needs some work. Lousy soldier is great, and the album is just nice to listen to generally.
Never thought something so good could come out of southampton of all places.
