While this project doesn't quite have the magic of their previous EP, there's still plenty here to love from the fresh minds of the House of Protection boys, specifically Godspeed, I Need More Than This, and Fire
The only real gripe I have for this project is that it's too short. It's a good collection of well produced, smartly written pop songs. Rebecca Black's comeback arc is complete.
I'm fascinated. Every song on this otherworldly project is unique in sound and scope, but the album carries a singular tone ferried along by Kenny Segal & Benjamin Booker's production.
Freaky, haunting, and ominous, Perverts is a solid drone album and sharp turn from Ethel Cain's last major project
What a rollercoaster of an album. While there's few individual songs that I'd save or listen to on their own, the album as a whole is a wild ride full of highs and mids (no real low points). In all honesty, this is the coolest 46 minute EDM song I've listened to.
acloudyskye invites us into a world of noise, glamour and emotion. I, for one, am thrilled to listen to this (albeit too short) wonderful collection of songs that ring with a warm sense of familiarity.
PinkPantheress creates another hit album with fun, danceable production and catchy hooks. The standard has been set.
Wow. The overall sound of this project is heavy as hell, so fun to listen to, and deserves all the praise it's getting. Spiritbox remains a must-listen in the metalcore sphere.
Saturated with vibrant sounds, Crimson works exceptionally well as a color-based album, though some moments stick out as missed opportunities or awkward transitions.
Fun and flush with color, SMILE! :D tugs at the heartstrings while not losing any of its catchiness in the process
Incredible, hard-hitting debut. Only "Better Off" seems to be missing the magic that flows through the rest of the EP.
So light, so fun, and stocked to the brim with memorable moments
On 'Suicide and Sunshine,' Trophy Eyes utilize excellent songwriting, strong vocals, and solid instrumentation to make a great album with heartfelt, occasionally tear-jerking moments.
With harrowing lyrics, strong and raw vocals, and brutal production, Alpha Wolf are able to create an excellent metalcore album with a solid emotional backing.
Incredibly fun and refreshingly new, underscores' 'fishmonger' puts itself leagues above the majority of its hyperpop contemporaries. The album pulls inspiration from many genres, and it pays off by giving the listener a varied and unique listening experience with genuine heartfelt moments and hard-hitting but (mostly) not overbearing production.
