The hype that every Ye release gets, makes the listener elevate their hopes higher than they should be. It seems that he postpones the albums just to release them unfinished when he wants. It brings some quality rapping and production on the first three-track run but fails to excel as much as other past projects. The singles put out the best of the album and the rest lacks their energy and quality.

The album rollout brought the expectations too high. It is a standard 21 Savage album, with few misses, good collaborations and production, but fails to expand 21 Savage's character. Feels a little incoherent. Nothing innovative but still a good transition LP to feed the fans.
It's a mix bag when you think of the potential of a Kid Cudi project hosted by DJ Drama. The higher moments are because of their resemblance with Cudi's old sound or due to other artists emerging to change the mood during the stacked tracklist. Even then the songs are not that memorable. Kid Cudi feels uninspired on this one.
