Does have the band’s signature psychedelic style with The River being a standout track but the other ones are not as memorable as King Gizzard’s other stuff
They need to do a soundtrack on an Edgar Wright film and seeing what Wright thinks about this album it might be a possibility
Sounds very unique from gambino’s other stuff turning to an triumphant pop rock but manages to transcend the bars set by that genre
Flying lotus makes a album that switches genre and tones but somehow makes it come together in a transcendent experience that switch between chaotic Sun-Ra-esque jazz and Psychedelic Hip-Hop
