Quadeca - Dark Magic
94

Cultdeca walks around with a ball of miscellaneous body parts while playing some new RnB jams. Insert airhorn here.

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
96

I genuinely believe that, while it may not seem like it now, this album will go down to be one of the most well regarded Hip-Hop projects of all time, dare I say the most well regarded. The album is essentially perfect from start to finish, with the one small exception around tracks 5 and 6 of disc 2, which, while still being great tracks in their own respect, fail to carry along the steam from the absolutely stellar first record.

In short, this record will most definitely go down as ... read more

J. Cole - BIRTHDAY BLIZZARD '26
99

Only rating this 99 cause the fall off gonna be 100.

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
76

Arguably Rockys worst album yet. No, looking at his discography definitely his worst album yet. His raps are stale and the imitations of other genres are corny, especially whatever Doechii decided to do over that beautiful piano. There is some annoyance with marking Westside Gunn as a feature with him just being there for the vibes. Even Tyler adopted Rocky’s mediocrity on this record and still out rapped him.

Best song: Stay Here 4 Life
Beat feature: Brent Faiyaz

J. Cole - The Fall-Off is Inevitable
100

Most of the time when I say this it’s just a joke or recency bias, but if we are getting two discs of this I believe that this is probably going to be the best rap project of all time. (Yes, maybe over tpab, and that’s a big maybe)

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. 1-9, New Stereo Mix)
100

Who could have thought that 50 years later, Pink Floyd could have released a combination of two released songs and have it be likely the best single of all time.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here 50
100

Finally we have SOYCD pts 1-9. One of the best albums ever and more of it makes it even better.

Yuno Miles - ALBUM
100

A flawless combination of satire lyrical prowess and addicting trap production. Yuno Miles captures the entire industry of meme rap, even expanding it beyond its former boundaries into other genres. Yuno delivers a mostly featureless album, except for Anthony Fantano’s feature on “Bobo’s Chicken”, but Miles doesn’t need features, he brings the whole table.

Album Peaks:
Racecar
Bobo’s Chicken

André 3000 - 7 piano sketches
92

Someone who isn’t a musician won’t be able to understand this. As an amateur pianist myself, the emotion and lack of care for musical norms is so unique and inspiring.

Danny Brown - Starburst
85

To think that this was the dude who worked with Kendrick and Earl? Quad must have taught him how to change up your style of music, because it seems like he is going to do it correctly!

Scru Face Jean - Document 79
79

He’s dragging the beer for profit but the music itself is ok so whatever. Better than half of Chances new project

That Mexican OT - Recess
75

Nothing philosophical so it’s not gonna get rated high but this shit slaps, if you disagree then whatevs 🤷

JID - God Does Like Ugly
100

HOW TF DID HE TOP THE FOREVER STORY? I know we been saying this for like five years now but JID really is up next my god.

Metro Boomin - Metro Boomin Presents: A Futuristic Summa
55

This album reminds me of NBA Youngboy, long and boring. Some tracks still slap tho so it’s in the middle. Baby went off on his feature.

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
100

My first Quadeca album I hear on the day of release. A true masterpiece. Tells a story in such a unique way that is so sonically amazing that you don’t even need the official movie music video to understand completely what is going on. Quadeca is a master of inducing feelings through his music, and it shows.
