Omar S - You Want

Decent but feels like he phoned it in on this one; agree with the RA review. He can do better.

Raime - If This Is A Dream, I Don't Ever Want To Wake Up

Raime brings the heat on this old skool jungle tape.

Irritating. Wake me up when deconstructed club is over.

CS + Kreme - Snoopy

spooky, dubby, blunted beats

Beatrice Dillon - Workaround

Surprised at the high critic scores on this one. It's one of those albums from the seemingly endless array of electronic releases with a couple of good ideas and cool sounds. This (and most) all fail at providing that little something extra (humanity, warmth, soul, groove, danceability, etc.) needed to elevate themselves above the pack.

DJ Metatron - U'll Be the King of the Stars
90

DJ Metatron creates beautiful ambient house worlds full of ecstasy, nostalgia, joy and sadness. These are tunes for all the dreamers, ravers (past and present) and lonely out there.

HTRK - Over The Rainbow
82

Ambient album/soundtrack focused on themes of inquisition, the ethereal and serenity, all with a very slight undercurrent of eeriness.

Organ Tapes - Hunger in Me Living
92

This album isn't going to be for everyone - if you don't think you could enjoy what sounds like drunk autotuned singing and moaning then move on. This is basically an underground version of Give Up for men suffering from depression and nostalgia, and who listen to too much outsider electronic music, i.e., John Maus or Autre Ne Veut for emo kids. Recommended if you're feeling blue and into that kind of thing.

"Too disjointed and random. Cool sounds though. Might work as part of some sort of installation but not enjoyable to listen to."
On exception's review of GAS - Narkopop
"Sounds like you listened to the album twice (or didn't listen at all if you didn't notice). The runtime is about 1 hour and 10 minutes. There are 10 tracks and some places also include a complete mix of the album in a single track at the end so it looks like the runtime is twice what it actually is. "
