BCNR try not to drop an album that redirects the course of my life (impossible challenge)
Just like their previous projects, this album is a masterpiece. I prefer Isaac Wood’s vocals in the context of BCNR’s instrumentals but these new vocalists are also fantastic. To get the negatives out of the way, I do wish this album had more energy compared to their previous work. I'd like to say I'm an avid fan of metalcore but this album is just so incredibly mediocre and monotone and it bothers me. I don't dislike the idea of female vocalists in metal, but Courtney LaPlante's melodic parts are so weak and it ruins so much of this album. This is the most generic metalcore album I could possibly listen to made worse by the boring melody and the unreasonable 43 minute length. If he does more stuff with Conductor, Alc, or that Sterling Toles guy then we could see another crazy release by Boldy, but until then, this is the type of stuff we're ... read more
I somewhat understand what people dislike about this project, but to me it's like a perfected version of their previous album, "The Madness of Many"
