Every single day this album ages better and better. If you asked me for a perfect album this would probably be the first one I'd name. What an absolutely delightful surprise this record was. John Michel was rapping on this album like there was an eviction notice paper on his front door. Anthony James delivered some of the richest production I've heard on recent rap albums and the duo's energy suited each other flawlessly. So much potency was shoved into this 37 minute listen to where it feels like they could've gone another 30 if they hadn't stopped themselves. Coming into this album I expected nothing less than near perfection, and that's a lot to ask for seeing as this is my first time actually sitting down and listening to Quadeca. It didn't let me down. The instrumentation is gorgeous, the singing and rapping is on point, and the cohesiveness of the album makes it feel like half of the 1h 9m runtime.
Yes, it's as good as everyone is saying. Maybe better. Definitely better.

Wet Leg have put together an impressive and accessible indie rock album. It's not a masterpiece nor is it a dull listen in the slightest.
