the proof that technicity is not everything in bdm
was expecting a better release from joão. this album starts in a really good way, the first three tracks have hella catchy but healthy melodies but then 'animais silvestres' starts t play and all the energy that this album was promising fades out a bit. the restant tracks are not even close to sound bad but damn, I was really hype for this
great name, great album cover and a pretty good release. I first listened to turia when they still were on haeresis noviomagi and they immediately got my attention.
on this album, u can expect a good atmosphere and some solid black metal tracks that at some times have little bits of raw black metal moments. for me, the last track is definitely the best. I would love to hear turia explore more the sound of synths on the next releases!
the vocals are weak and the riffs sound kinda uninspired but it is worth a listen tbh
the fact that they could put out a melodic death metal song in the middle of a brutal and nasty af deathgrind album and make it good brings tears to my eyes. amazing.
