Das Kope's sophomore album feels like a slump compared to his debut, 'Where I Live', but even in this slump there's still some greatness to it.
'Brutamonte' shines most with the singles, with some interstellar tracks like 'Melting Away', 'Moon in Daylight', and 'We Must Be Out of Our Minds'. 'Ride' and 'Bliss' deserve some mention as well. The drowsy, hypnotic and distorted sound makes 'Brutamonte' a ... read more

'Wrongderful' is amazing for getting absolutely plastered.
McBaise's sound stays true in this release, with killer basslines, groovy guitar lines, and decor that makes you feel like you're floating. 'Never' has to rank among my top favorite album openers and 'Smokey' ranks among the top closers.
It's very telling how much fun was had in the composition and creation of this album. 'Wrongderful' never fails to deliver throughout each ... read more

Wes Parker hits a grand slam with a cold and hauntingly somber EP release for Halloween.

From the overdriven power chords in the titular song to the dreadful reversed intro lyrics in 'spider legs', it's hard to not want to listen again and ... read more

Listening to Deadbeat feels almost like it's here to fill out the quota of one album every 5 years. If you want to give it a full listen, you should prepare yourself ... read more

'Michelangelo Dying' is a very beautiful collection of songs drowned in what makes dreams. Just listening to this might spawn some rheum in the corners of your own eyes.
The emotion is that of a broken heart healing, the aching and stinging of the scar tissue reflected in brief moments of harsh overlaid and overdriven sirens and drones. It's such a wonderfully well executed sound of neo-psychedelia as well as Dream and Ambient Pop. There's a subtlety to the album that ... read more
