Currents is one of my favorite albums ever. All songs feel like they come from a different planet. Starting the album with let it happen is like getting born into a life of wealth. This album is a masterpiece. The lyrics, bass, sampling, instrumentals are all peak. I love all the songs. Devil in a new dress is beautiful and one of my favorite songs, even if everyone in the world listened to it and gave it a 10 it would still be underrated. Aliens need to hop on this song. This album is great and almost all songs can be repeated and still make you groovy. My favorite song on this album is last call because he is spitting bars in the first four minutes and the last 8 he is sharing his story. Sometimes in last call I catch my self singing the beat because it is so good. It’s a very replay-able song imo, the worst song on the album is breathe in breathe out because I don’t like the sound of the instrumental and that’s what I go out for in songs. ... read more
This album wasn’t as good as people say it was and the main reason I think that is because I hate the voice of mica. The instrumental is good and it would be a better album without lyrics. Gives me a synthetic vibe and I like that type of stuff
