This is the gold standard for Future Bass. I genuinely adore this EP and I think its biggest issue is the fact that half of the EP was already released as singles before its release. Honestly, I just wish there were more than 4 tracks on this thing. Please give it a listen, Grant's unique production style is paired with masterful vocals from artists including himself, including some beautiful euphoric flourishes throughout.

Some of these reviews seem to be written by the electronic music police who can't stand hearing their favourite artist try anything they deem 'radio'. I think this album is super solid. No track is astounding and Shawn can certainly do better, but for what it is it's pretty hard to poke holes in it. Nothing amazing but a lot of solid, edm influenced pop tracks with fun vocals and good production.

This album is great and excellently crafted. Unfortunately for me, it was excellently crafted in a genre and style I'm not really a huge fan of. Not to say the album is bad, not at all, 90% of these tracks are on my playlist, but I definitely don't get as much out of this as others will. Great tracks about family and relationships, struggle and hardship, perseverance and koalas. Lovely project.

Biggest issue with this record is the lack of varied tracks, but the standout tracks are truly great. I am literally only making this review to tell you to listen to Interluden

- Interluden (god it's so good)
- Particles
WORST TRACKS:
- From Dust
- Blue Shadows
- To Dust
- seriously just listen to interluden why are you still reading this
This album (more the original rather than the deluxe) is very close to me, but honestly I can't give this anything above a 70. A lot of these tracks are great, but I can't deny the fact that they all contain the same issues. Godlike production drowned out by corny lyrics with a super disjointed theme and style. I love varied albums but a lot of the time the record feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be, and some of the lyrics are absolutely abysmal. And yet I still really like the ... read more
