Electric Light Orchestra - Mr. Blue Sky

It is immensely regrettable that I have to give this song not only a decent review, but a perfect score. It's a song for all intensive purposes should be as delightful as the spawn of Satan torturing the anocutaneous line. It's bright, it's sunny and is a completely cheerful, carefree tune. I should absolutely hate this. Jeff Lynne is too busy getting aroused by the concept of weather, meteorology and the sun simply existing. But if Vivaldi can gush about how delightful seasons ... read more

It is regrettable to say that I actually consider this song a fine, dandy work of art. A masterpiece of sorts, really reminscent of the likes of Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Grieg, but maybe not on the level of Luigi Boccherini. He was particularly eloquent and dashing.

It starts with the most beautiful intro ever that I hate to admit brings the same level of emotion as The Unforgiven by Metallic- I mean Seasons by Vivaldi! It's played on a two-handed guitar thing which I ... read more

The Beatles - In My Life (Take 1)

Note: This review is for the song itself. The Beatles were trying to censor me by not making this flaming song a single.

The Beatles need no introduction. They are one of the most influential bands of all time and every song they made was revolutionary. Even this one despite the fact that it's utter posh.

It's pretentious, pompous, self-indulgent, Thatcher tossing twaddle, but charlatans act like it's deep prose of wisdom. It's like John Lennon stepped in poo one day and ... read more

*sigh* Why do you keep doing this to me, Mr. Eminem? Why do you keep making music and why do you keep making us suffer? Whenever you make new music, you give people trauma by reminding of the offense you caused with your horrid excuse for whatever you have the audacity to sexually assault the concept of music with? And you think it's cute to release a new song? Oh, the indignity. And because you keep releasing it, I have to put you in your place. You're not cute, clever or offensive ... read more

I remember the day I first heard this wonderful piece of musicianship. The second I heard that wild guitar riff prance at me like a crazed dingo in an abandoned sanctuary, I had to question if I actually liked this music or if it was just lowbrow refuse. But then the brilliant man known as Kurt Cobain greets me with lyrics like "Load up on guns, bring your friends. It's fun to lose into pretend." I don't know what he means by that. That makes this song brilliant. He then ... read more

Seattle Symphony / Gerard Schwarz - Beethoven's Ninth with "Ode to Joy"

Twas a tragedy when Beethoven passed away from pneumonia back in a time where you could actually die from such a menial disease. However, it's even more of a tragedy when his final symphony is what I believe the kids today call... mid.

I would never truly critique one of the greats, nor would I ever dare question Shakespeare, but we have to face the truth that Beethoven's 9th is not a work of art just because he's dead. I am well aware he was deaf and therefore couldn't ... read more

It is exceptionally regrettable that such lowbrow filth is renowned to a sickening and quite repulsive degree. It takes about as much talent to write as it took for Thomas Edison to electrocute Topsy the Elephant to smithereens back in 1903. True fact, look it up. When such utter wankery is praised, given awards and treated on a higher level than the monarchy itself, it makes you mourn for the days when Tony Blair was a shining example of how to be an astonishing gentleman. Nowadays, people ... read more
