This is just a really enjoyable and great album, and I take back what I said about stankonia. This is undisputed my favorite OutKast album, but just by a little. There is not much that this album does wrong, or much that it lacks in. The lyrical content was just spectacular, and it was rather enjoyable. The rhymes are really good, and pretty advanced for their times. The refences and story telling were just phenomenal, and there were so many little stories compact into these songs which played into a bigger message. The delivery was decent, but it felt as if there wasn’t heart poured out into it. Now the hooks and choruses were just amazing, and there is no way you could forget a very singular second of one of them. The production was also spectacular too, and it paired well with the lyrical content. The samples really paired so well with the drums, and it has a nice medium paced feel to everything. All these songs play into a bigger more serious message, and it’s so amazing when you begin to piece it all together. Every song is at least an 8/10, but most of them are 9/10s with a few 10/10s sprinkled in. I’d have to say my top three off this album would have to go to, elevators, Babylon, and two dope boyz in a cadallaic. The album cover isn’t really related to the songs, but it’s very visually appealing. The outro as well was just undeniably phenomenal (that is if you’re not counting the remix of me & you). Overall this was just a phenomenal album, and you must deifnley listen to it the very second you get the chance to do such.
