that’s a hell of an album. It’s so loud and makes you feel like you’re drowning. I can’t wait to hear it live on friday.
I'm listening to Dallas Beltline on the Dallas Beltline. Dont look in my trunk.
Pretty awsome sample flips, and a good mix between noise, sound collage, and jazzy rap.
Never got into his other music, but this albums really fun. I cant speak to the lyrics but i really enjoyed it.
It felt a little dated, but Only One Way was a highlight Celeste's vocals are out of this world
He has such a unique raspy whisper singing voice, but it's so pleasant sounding. Which in some ways perfectly contrasts the ever-changing psychedelic instrumentation. I really enjoyed this.
its nice.. just wares on you a bit. But I think the final track was a nice breath of fresh air.
GD this is heavy and bleak. It reminds me a lot of dogsbody. Also top tier album cover.
The singles are nice but it wore itself off closer to the end.
I came into this wanting to dislike it, then I heard pest. Easily one of the best albums of the year. Reminds me a lot of Francis the mute and Wallsocket sonically.
Cant say this was dull. I am interested to see what a full album would look like.
I really like the transition to more melodic vocals. This just reeks a more mature sound that still packs the raw energy of their previous work.
The singles shine over the rest. But it's such a murky and gothic take on American folk that it feels uniquely his. His accent makes his voice stand out. But it's also his lyricism that hypnotizes me. I think these songs accentuate his performances in contrast to, especially the earlier Iceage albums.
