Undoubtedly his strongest yet. Coming from a Vermonter, this was really a beautiful album, taking so much inspiration from Vermont and the people up here. Probably a little bloated, and it does blur together at some parts, but the potential Noah exhibited on Stick Season is channeled into some really quality indie folk tracks where the focus is music for the sake of it, rather than any try-to-be hits. I am so confused by how I feel about this album.

What a fucking comeback from the mediocre slop that was Cracker Island. This is an incredible album that, granted, hits me personally a bit, so I will say this is not an objective review. As someone from a South Asian culture growing up now fairly disconnected from it, this is a beautiful project that really hit close to home for me. Even putting that aside though, this is a gorgeous and incredibly impressive album from Gorillaz, especially so late in the band’s career. Albarn is a genius.

I really love this track. I would love to see more beats and flows like this from tyler. super refreshing.
