If I could only bring 3 albums on a desert island, I would bring Plastic Beach twice

Is this album the most technically, rhythmically or musically impressive ever made? No, not even close. But this album brings ALL the vibes.

If you don’t like this album, give it a listen while riding the train and looking out the window. Hard not to smile the entire time.

This album changed my taste in music. When I first listened to it several years ago, I could barely get through the first couple of songs (embarrassing, I know…). Now it’s one of those albums I put on knowing I’ll enjoy it every time.

If I could choose one album that defines my taste in music, this would probably be it. It’s got everything from jazz to sampledelia, hip hop to electronic.
