The first time I heard this song: It was May 25, 2015, and the song was only two weeks old. I was in high school at the time. That night, after dinner at a restaurant, I went on a long, fun car ride. I love this song! I first heard it in December 2015 while listening to the radio at home, enjoying my Christmas holiday break. The chorus is very similar to "Emerald Dream" by Niklas Johansson. The Niklas Johansson piece starts in the key of C, but later in the song, at around the 2:30 mark, has a key change to D, the same key that this song is in.
