A silky, spacy Southern Hip Hop album. I haven't really listened to Outkast outside of their popular 2000s songs, so I wasn't really sure what to expect going into this album. I can definitely see why Outkast is so beloved. The lush, mellow atmosphere allows Andre and Big Boi's flows to stand at the forefront. The two play off each other easily, their bars clever yet laidback, if somewhat dated. The bottom half is weaker than the top half, but it's a groove the entire time.
