A bittersweet, introspective Alt R&B/Neo-Soul album. The production is not particularly novel, but it supports SZA's voice quite well, providing a mellow backdrop for SZA's musings on heartbreak, longing, and other insecurities. Though not particularly innovative, this is a strong debut.
