I like Kid Cudi and this album but I hate the other guy so I can't really rate this or say much beyond it's funny how works can change over time due to the actions of one person.

Understand the time period of this album: Humanz came out and everyone was SEVERELY SPLIT on it, and it was the most mixed reception Gorillaz project to date that wasn't named a weird album called "The Fall." One point of criticism was the majority of Humanz being full of features and 2D / Damon being in the background. This album is their answer I felt to that criticism alongside with a trimmed length.

More sad boi hours with a few stand-out tracks (which admittedly fall into the same thing I'm complaining about) like Glimpse of Us.

Underwhelmed, kinda want Joji to venture onto a new avenue.

musically it's the standard Kim Petras fanfare but with more hyperpop chrome

morally screw this album and those associated with it.
