Risqué

Even better than We Are Family, a very similar disco album from around the same time. These late 70's disco records are so much fun to listen to because they MAKE it so much fun. Good vibes only right here. Just happy as shit. With Risque CHIC gives us some disco funky bangers that are pretty much all instant bad day killers. The songs are catchy and super enjoyable and the singing is great. Here's another thing this album has in common with We Are Family: It was sampled in Lemkuuja's song "What's a Future Funk?" (in My Feet Keep Dancing) Which if you play GD, you KNOW that song is a fucking classic. Seriously these records just such a contagious energy to them that brings me so much joy. Love them for that
