What a gorgeous debut album. Laufey manages to capture the concept of love and what comes with it so perfectly. I find myself with hairs standing on end and goosebumps listening throughout this album. An album worth tears from its beauty alone. Her calm, soothing voice and intricate melodies join perfectly in harmony to create one of the most pleasing experiences I have had the joy of listening to. I wish I had listened to this album sooner than I have.

Honestly, when I first heard Basic Being Basic as the single for this album, I was excited, but what we actually received exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, this is a pretty good 9/10 album. Every song keeps the vibe and effort consistent and never kept me wishing for the song to end.
