Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
30

At this point, she's just making anything to make money. This album genuinely has some of the worst songwriting I've heard in a while. So many of the songs have some of the corniest lyrics and the lack of effort shes putting into her songwriting is embarrassing. "did you girlboss too close to the sun"... genuinely what the fvck? The production was also major disappointment because it is so inconsistent and couldn't decide for the life of her where she wanted to go ... read more

It's grown on my since my first listen and I'm really starting to love it!

Audrey Hobert - Who's the Clown?

Shes like if gracie abrams was interesting and made music that had character...
It's a solid album with fun songwriting, just not for me

Reneé Rapp - BITE ME
63

There are some highlights but otherwise, it's pretty generic and boring. Kind of a step down from her debut. I've realized Renee is one of those artists who has an amazing voice but wastes it on boring music.

Jessie Murph - Sex Hysteria
10

genuinely so bad, I couldn't even finish it. she has the most atrocious voice it started to hurt my ears. I don't understand why some people think that can have a career in the music industry

Addison Rae - Addison

I think what she lacks in songwriting (which is a lot), she makes up for it with great production

This is a very enjoyable project! As she continues to make more music, it continues to get better and better each project. Both this and her previous album are very well made

Realistically, the only highlights of this album are the feature. Otherwise, it's generally a pretty bland but also overproduced and poorly written album. Of what I've heard so far, this is the weakest solo album of the Blackpink girls.

Selena Gomez - I Said I Love You First

I mean... It's an album for sure. I'm not entirely sure what they were trying to accomplish with the making of this but they made something. Production wise, it's frequently up and down with some good moments but also some bland, not so good moments. In terms of songwriting, a good majority of it is very uncharacteristic. The biggest highlights of the album was the collab with The Maria's and "Younger And Hotter Than Me". It's not as bad as I anticipated it to ... read more

Lady Gaga - MAYHEM

This is my first time actually listening to a full Gaga album and I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't fully satisfied. I think songs like Killah and Die With A Smile we're both not needed. About halfway through the album, some songs started to blend in with each other too much. Overall, it was still a solid album.

I didn't really know what to expect going into this but I enjoyed it a little more than I though it would. I guess cause I thought coming from a K-POP girl group, it was going to sound like an average K-POP song but she ended up going in a direction of more pop/R&B and I kind of fw it. I do think that the album starts off strong but towards the end, it starts to blend in with each other and not many of the songs stand out. 'Damn Right' is easily the best song on this. ... read more

Tate McRae - So Close To What

This is definitely her strongest album to date. Much better than THINK LATER, as this doesn't feel like it was rushed to be made. Production is stronger and lyrics are a little more well written, especially on the more personal songs. Overall, a solid project.

Ethel Cain - Perverts

Was not expecting for this to sound the way it does since I was expecting songs more sonically similar to "Punish" or maybe even closer to 'August Underground's and 'Televangelism' but I do think that it's an interesting change in direction. It truly amazes me that she has the ability to make me feel so unbelievably uncomfortable but in a not so bad way. One of the things I love about this EP is how it sounds like a soundtrack for a black and white, 70's ... read more

For an album that was both written and produced by someone who's only 18, this is a really solid album! You can tell from this record that she has lots of potential
