The most complete the band has sounded to date, the songs gel together and doesn't feel disjointed. However, what it gain in consistent writing it loses its 'creativeness' is some songs, with certain songs feeling somewhat dull at times due to decent but generic formula or sound. The great songs still shine through despite this with opener Meaningless Sex or closer Nighttime Affair, and inclusion of Come Over (Again) feels welcome despite that fact that its been heard long before
Excellent follow up to the EP, sound is still teething, but what comes out of it is still very solid in individual tracks like Fuck Me (IDKWTS) and Too Soon, and closer Hang Me Like Jesus feels like a better version of their most popular song 'Come Over (Again)'.
The only downside to the EP is that it still feels like its thrown together songs that don't fit together fully, weaking songs like I Can't Drive when compared in sound to I Don't Want It
Solid debut EP, all four songs are at very minimum decent and have a good starting sound to them, only held back by the sound not being there just yet
White Albums weird cousin. Despite Weezer delving back into more popish areas again, its probably their most solid work doing it, but only because the pop sounds blend in with the song ideas more here, creating songs like Any Friend of Diane's and even worse, Feels Like Summer.
