This album is 100% an individual experience and there really is no "wrong reviews" for it. For me personally, the thick atmosphere resonated with me in ways that I was not expecting. Every sound and note feels intentional and left me doing circles in my head trying to piece together the story and setting that each character was placed in. Ethel's ability to create songs that sound beautiful yet horrifying, is unmatched and adds so much depth to this collection of dark tracks. ... read more
Once again, Ethel proves she is a master in story-telling and atmosphere building. Yet another incredible entry into a stacked roster of LPs. From start to finish, the world of Ethel Cain is built through deep musical story-telling and a beautifully tragic atmosphere that feels so heavy. Her vocal range has always been impressive on other works, but it feels like it was taken to another level on this album. Production and performances are top tier and any fan of music can enjoy the care and ... read more
Psycho-Frame's debut album is either going to be loved or hated with very little in between. If you love heavy break neck early 2000's technical deathcore, this is the album for you. From start to finish the gas pedal is being pressed to the floor. The insane riffs and brutal breakdown gets your adrenaline pumping until you pass out. Great production while still having the early 2000's feel that a lot of deathcore fans miss. Enjoyable listen from start to finish with no bad ... read more
I have never been a huge fan of The Weekend, but good music cannot be ignored. Hurry Up Tomorrow is surprisingly consistent for 22 tracks and an hour and a half runtime. The beats, production, and vocal performances are great from start to finish. While only a couple songs really stood out there are no egregiously bad songs either. Good track after another with great features across the board. The standard of consistence in an album.

Courtney maintains her unclean vocal strength while, in my opinion, further improving her clean vocals. The only song I was not really feeling was "Crystal Roses". I respect the attempt at something different, but was not grabbed by it. Overall, a very consistent metalcore ... read more
