OK Computer

ok computer is an album to listen to after surviving a car crash. this is an absolutely phenomenal album!! it has such a distant sound to the whole thing, a unsettling but simultaneously comforting ambiance can be found in basically every song. it has basically everything youd need in an album, times of hope and times of sorrow, times of love, times of confusion, times of giving up, the list goes on. the vocal performance by yorke is really one for the books as he adds so much to every track. it overall in my opinion revolves around society becoming more and more robotic as standards are moving from preferences to requirements, how people are just ending up becoming one amalgamation of a being without any real depth into them, like androids. this really got me into the more "alt rock" type music, and was definitely a catalyst for my deeper dive into music.

overall: pretty amazing album!
