buds is an album to listen to while looking for laura palmer. i listened to this for the first time after i heard "freaks" in a backrooms video and thought the song was pretty good. this is special to me because this is the first album i listened to entirely because one song from it got popular. without this albums like sour or everything so far or beatopia wouldn't have been listened to. very influential in my music journey and i believe freaks was the first song i went out of my way to listen to that wasn't rap! without this album i would've never delved into other genres and it's special to me for that, and also the memories i've had with it. surf curse has been my favorite band ever since and i dont see it changing! looovvveee!
