Tears Of Tragedy - Continuation of the Dream

Very rich and powerful. Incredibly passionate vocals, whether it's the female lead vocalist, the death growls or the opera singing. This album is nothing short of a masterpiece and I'm very glad to have found the 11 minute long gem that is "Prison of Abyss". Despite the duration, it doesn't get tiring, it doesn't feel as long as it really is. Before you notice, you're already past the 5 minute mark. Beautiful guitar riffs, solos and piano are present ... read more

きくお [Kikuo] - きくおミク6 [Kikuo Miku 6]

Kikuo's feel for music is so amazing!! "Hole-dwelling" and "The Cat's Dining Table" are some of my all-time favorite vocaloid songs. Miku's soft-spoken tuning is so soothing to listen to and matches the sad themes of the songs so well. Just wonderful. Apart from the overarching 'dark' theme, the songs on this album can differ from each other a lot, some even sound happy while having sad meaning, some are very atmospheric like "Cotton ... read more

wowaka - アンノウン・マザーグース [Unknown Mother Goose]

I love this song. I'm a huge fan of wowaka's tracks, which i discovered thanks to the project diva series, and I wish this one were included in the games too. The lyrics are amazing and carry a lot of meaning and miku's voice blending in with the guitar blew me away the first time listening. It's a beautiful final track to his career. RIP wowaka

I remember being really excited for this album, especially considering that it's their first full length release and I had been a fan since 2 years prior to its release, but when I finally listened to it right after waking up I felt underwhelmed, knowing the talent that DIW possesses. There are segments that shine, like 僕らは今膣のなかで's guitars or "Nine Infected Entrails", but mostly it feels like they're letting the feature artists trample over them for ... read more

Minuano - ある春の恋人 [Spring Lovers]

Very lighthearted, sweet feel. You automatically sway with the music and close your eyes to enjoy it. Mesmerizing. When listening, I feel transported back to early summer with a gentle breeze. I really like the range of instruments used, also.

It's an interesting split album to say the least. The track names are just unfortunate and embarrassing. I'm not a big fan of Cheerleader Concubine, though Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship's half is phenomenal. I've ... read more

800 cherries - romantico (2022 Remaster)

800 cherries' songs hit me right in the feels, I couldn't put them on as background music and treat them as such even if I wanted to. They're all calm, not in the least overwhelming, always just right. While songs like "la pa ti ta" and "everybody knows '98 aoringo" feel warm and fluffy, like a warm glass of chocolate milk made with love, "I Am A Honeybee" and "honeydew blue" put you in a melancholic state, their songs feel special. I ... read more

Beautifully brutal!! I love Kiryu's vocals so so much, the drums, the blastbeats, the breakdowns and the guitar solos are all incredible and it's easy to tell that each band member is very skilled. I've had phases where I put each song of this EP on repeat for days on end, especially 僕らのSlam 君とのSlaughter ... read more

I love the two opening tracks, but it just get worse as it goes on. It's like DJ Technorch willingly put all the best songs at the start so you get hooked early on and keep listening, but the rest isn't quite good enough to keep up. I love DJ Technorchs works, but the album as a whole makes me a little sad. In fact, the last song is so ... read more
