Relient K - Five Score and Seven Years Ago
100

Relient K’s 2007 record Five Score And Seven Years Ago is a new direction for the band, taking on a new sound that RK didn’t return to after the record was finished. A one and done style that I’d love to see more of. Five Score’s sound really hasn’t been recreated by any other band to this day, making it an incredibly unique listen in the Pop Punk genre.

Lacking much to criticize, the album has great songs across the board, except for a few misses like Forgiven ... read more

Relient K - Forget and Not Slow Down
95

Forget and Not Slow Down was my introduction to Relient K in 2023 after hearing the streaming exclusive bonus track “Terminals” with Adam Young of Owl City. This is an incredibly underrated record that I give a listen once every couple of months.

Forget and Not Slow Down is a vulnerable piece of art, where Matt Thiessen shares many personal experiences with love. The album starts with a high octane title track, and continues that energy up until Part Of It, where the energy remains ... read more

crayon - the majestic

Very solid debut album from crayon. I like the production and the voice and there’s not much else to say. The Bunii feature is great.

Best track: Legs

heavn0nevaeh - Botanist
90

Botanist is an EP that screams "next up" to me. The project is a very unique style of electrotrap, blending elements from Dariacore in sampling video game sounds. Mainly on Hate my guts, you can hear samples from Deltarune, making this track a fun listen for fans of the game. Personally, I find the project to be one of the best of 2026 so far.

The EP is such a neat listen, especially since it doesn't fall under any specific genre. It's a very deep project, where no two ... read more

Vaelis - Out of Time
NR

I'm not even going to rate this, even rating this a 0 is too high.

Magdalene - Red Siren Pick Up
100

Very interesting track that follows a great instrumental structure and fantastic vocal mixing. The Current Joys feature is thing that sets this track over the edge for me, making it such a fun track across its 2:57 runtime.

Neurosis - An Undying Love for a Burning World
50

I didn’t really like it that much

blink-182 - ONE MORE TIME… PART-2
100

I'm convinced this is Blink's best album. ONE MORE TIME... was already an incredible album, but the deluxe for this album is fucking insane. This is a 27 track album that somehow managed to go 27/27. The band takes a similar approach to their style with this album as they did with California when Matt Skiba was replacing Tom DeLonge. However, with DeLonge taking the style, and Barker destroying the drums as usual takes this album above and beyond their other projects.

This album ... read more

blink-182 - NINE
86

NINE gives Blink a shiny new chrome layer of paint, being a virtual successor to their 2003 "Untitled." The album takes Blink-182 and redefines what that really means. The album takes a different approach at their classic rock style, creating a sort of nu-punk sound that bands to this day struggle to recreate properly.

Whatever crack they fed Matt Skiba for his two album run with Blink has to be studied, because this man created not one but two Untitled sequels.

bunii - areyouevenlistening?
90

Areyouevenlistening? is an impressive comp from Shy The Eternal, better known as bunii. Every track is catchy as shit, and has insanely good production compared to the preceding album Bastard.

Areyouevenlistening? is a compilation of the songs from the scrapped Bastard Deluxe (excluding b4bastard), making for a similar listening experience, just with higher polished production and vocal quality. A fantastic comp if you ask me. Fuck whoever leaked it and got Bastard Deluxe cancelled.

bunii - opo
78

A very unusual style of indie rock that bunii works so well. It's a blend of Jaydes inspired pluggnb and bunii's own rock style that works so well, despite being two completely different genres. The thing that sets opo apart from bunii's other work isn't any track in particular, but all of them together.

Each track works in such a way where it's impossible to have a favorite, since they're all so unique and fun to listen to. Each track is fighting for first place ... read more

slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)
86

lowkey burger music but it's good music so who cares

availax - STEREO MIX
69

Feels like I snorted a few lines of crack and ate a pound of sugar. STEREO MIX is a fun, upbeat project.

It gets very repetitive at times, and the lack of vocals is selling big time. No playlist adds and not something I'd give a second listen, but very good project nonetheless.

flowersforpersephone - high heel complex
30

Classic bait and switch metal slop. If you enjoy having your ears assaulted you should check this out.

North West - N0rth4evr
50

N0rt4evr is an interesting rage project from the daughter of Kanye West. The samples are a bit cringe but from a 12 year old what can I except. The production kinda carries, but it's by no means a bad project. North just needs time to develop her sound more.

Drake - ICEMAN
4

Drake is the only dude who can drop 3 albums in one day and still go 0/4

bunii - bastard
88

Bastard is such a comprehensive album. Lots happening, little is left out. The album has something for everybody. The main thing holding Bastard back is its length. The songs are each around a minute or two long, making for a very short project.

However, Bastard exceeds expectations with a charming, unprofessional sound that a lot of underground artists are taking inspiration from right now. Bastard's unprofessional approach makes it a very enamoring project to listen through, all things ... read more

The Sonder Bombs - Clothbound

Just a good album. Nothing really to say about it. Very versatile and fun, but not too fun.

It takes itself seriously while making a joke out of itself in songs like Vegas BABYYY.

Best songs:
Play It By Fear
Crying Is Cool

Porter Robinson - Nurture
100

In my eyes, Nurture is the greatest album someone can listen to. Who knew that giving simply an hour of your time, and a bit of attention to lyrics, could change your whole outlook on life.

With Nurture, Porter improved his sound from his 2014 album Worlds. Blending elements of glitch pop and house music, Robinson didn't just make an album. He made history. This album does the impossible, and puts feelings that can't be described not just into words--but into melodies. Each song uses ... read more

glaive - God Save The Three
65

This album falls short compared to Glaive's other projects. It's a very interesting blend of Glaive's usual electropop and his less common indie rock projects that simply doesn't work. The album is trying too hard to simultaneously be a sequel to Y'all and his 2023 album I Care So Much That I Don't Care at All.

The style mixing is executed poorly, ending in an album that sounds a mess all over. Aside from being an incredibly forgettable album, God Save The Three ... read more
