Idk I didn't feel this album at all. She was smart with choosing the singles making us believe that this album is gonna be her best, but no, it wasn't.
For me it was a mix of BRAT and Bjork's music. 'Striptease' sounds a little like Eartheater's 'High Tide', so idk if she sampled this song or it's just a coincidence. Either way the song is amazing and I really enjoyed it.
Every song of EUSEXUA has its own magic. This album didn't disappoint me at all :)
I heard about Magdalena Bay before, but I never listened to their songs. I didn't know what to expect but at the same time I was really excited to listen to this album, since I heard this album is amazing. And it's true! This album is really good, cute and "soft" in term of the melody, like it has its psychedelic sound but it's not "heavy", you don't have a headache while listening to it.
Amazing production, amazing album, amazing Beth. This album is pure magic!
I kinda liked Megan Act II more that the first Megan. Idk if these songs were supposed to be in the first album or not, but if these songs are completely new, she definitely had fun and a big inspiration while making them. All songs are very catchy and I'm glad she decided to release them.
The idea of impersonating other singers was kinda good and I was hoping the album would be also good, but unfortunately it's very weak. Some songs were actually good but they didn't save this album, like something is missing. Still, I wish Halsey all the best!
Most of the songs has Taylor Swift vibe. If I was listening to a random playlist and one of her songs came on, I'd honestly think it was a Taylor song. 'Picture of You' was the only song I really liked.
Decided to give it a try without even knowing it's a country (I don't hate this genre, it's just not MY genre). Overall it's not a bad album, but could be better. 'Somebody Else's' was the only song I kinda liked.
I can definitely see myself listening to this album at night while doing something. Good album. 'Real Life' and 'If Only' are my favs from the album.
Another Spanish EP from NK... It's not bad (but these song sounds like they came from "Ecléctica"), but I really expected something interesting from her. I know she can make more "serious" and "powerful" songs in Spanish just like some of her Ukrainian songs. Not bad, but sounds like her other releases. She needs to experiment with new sounds or even with new genres.
This album is good, but definitely not my favorite. It has some hits, but the other songs... well, they didn't catch my attention. But if I was in a club and the DJ was playing all her songs from this album, I'd definitely be dancing.
Sooo, I really liked the album "Slut Pop" and I was a little excited about this one but... I was really disappointed. She wanted another hot moment but failed. 100% her worst album.
It was an okay album. Some songs were amazing, but others not so much. I think "Traumazine" had more hits than this album.
I'm going to be honest with you guys on this one. If I put aside the reason why most people hate this album, this album isn't that bad.
