It’s the first album I listen from the Queers, and it’s still my favorite album from them. I think this “the Best of the Queers”.
I really like the queers for their simple, personal styled melodies (like Chuck Berry, I can easily tell it’s a “the queers song” from the intro) and tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

One of my personal favorites from Jonathan, this album made me write “watch Jonathan Richman’s live” on my bucket list. That 7 minutes’ “Monologue About Bermuda (live)” brought me lots of joy.
I always fancy this kind of gigs where the musicians show you something different from what you heard from the album, either some joke, their personal life or even a different speed’s cover of their song.
