I am a very big dads fan and have been to all of the Sydney shows possible since seeing them at SpaceyJane in Aug 2022 and was waiting for new music since then, this EP was amazing and had such a blast listening to it as it feels so fun and personal and is also just such a treat to see live! Exit sign has quickly become my favourite dads song and I am just so excited for even more dads music, definitely worth the wait in my books :))
I actually like proper love this album, maybe i'm biassed from watching James for literally like 6 years but this is an album that I genuinely listen to and not just something that I listen to to 'be a fan'. The album feels so personal and really resonates with me and the type of music I like listening to (excluding a track or two) and I genuinely really like the album and is certainly James's best musical venture so far, I'm so excited to see what he does next!!
This is the first dads album I listened to back in August 2022 and it is genuinely one of my favourite albums of all time!! Piano Girl is my fave and the acoustic versions of Cheerleader and Piano Girl are so amazing and Come on, Cowboy is I think my favourite song to hear live!!!!
