the first half of this album is fucking angelic. the piano is so good. second half is nothing special which brings it diwn

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks

this album has an indescribable warmth to it. i often try to blame it on the muddy base tones, but i think it's more than that. dylan touches on topics of home and safety in multiple songs on this record, and his instruments of choice eminate a really safe feeling

Sufjan Stevens - Illinois (Special 10th Anniversary Blue Marvel Edition)

it's difficult to think of this as just an auditory experience. closing my eyes when i listen to this album really does send me to another world. seeing shapes and colors and feeling deeply. sufjan is not human

George Harrison - All Things Must Pass

best solo beatle album. kinda long and is a bit difficult to listen in one go, but if you can get through it it's an incredible experience

The A's - Fruit

these women are so talented and their voices are so incredibly powerful. the downfall of this project is that there's only one original song :(. that's not necessarily a bad thing in the big picture though because they have displayed how capable they are at performing art! im excited to see if they create an album in the future thats only originals.

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago

fav of all time this shit describes my brain waves inside and out

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

one of my favorite records all time. the production and songwriting are top tier. Jeff's voice is filled with ease yet so emotion packed. the melodies on this album are also incredible and there's nothing bad i can say about the thing.
