YB and Ye going back and fourth goes hard asl. Pretty cool seeing them both on this typa beat too
It's honestly just whatever, nothing here that's really outstanding. Conductor beat is basic. Atp I've heard so many similar beats from him and others that produce in his lane that I'm not even that excited to hear new beats from him if it isn't with anyone special. Sure Rome's lyrics and bars are cool and definitely what make the track, but his flow and voice is still just the same as usual. At the end of the day it is great to see Rome touching on issues like ... read more
Definitely better than a lot of the shit he's put out this year, Conway feature is fire and the song with El-P slaps. Nun else outside the last track and Cutthroats really stands out though
Production is amazing, but Billy's rapping seriously isn't enough to hold up 18 tracks. Thankfully the features here make up for this and actually add some variety and spice. Honestly not getting the insane hype over this, for sure a great follow-up to Aethiopes though
Didn't think thug would wash future so hard 😭 future's verse still hard asf tho
Recorded in one night and it shows. Westside's worst project to date, mixing obviously sucks and the production isn't anything at all. Egypt is the only song here worth anything, and it's alright, I like what he did on it with the nonstop flow and crazy adlibs. Rest of this EP is just rushed boring trash though
Westside sounds pretty out of place here, also not a huge fan of this underwhelming beat. But Rome and Joey drop great verses with an alright chorus from Stove. Was lowkey expecting a lot more from this collab but its still a good song either way
I'm gonna sound like a massive hater, but this guy has one of the most annoying voices ever, on top of this his flow sounds so lazy and his lyricism is painfully mid. The storyline is also terrible, cats meeting wizard trees? I wouldn't mind the idea if he actually made it funny or interesting, but this album drags so much. The production pulls him up a little sometimes but the beats too are average as fuck. There isn't much to say about this other than its a stale concept ... read more
Production is great and there are some super cool ideas here. Hyped for the final version honestly
Not a big fan of the production on this, still a great album per usual with Clipping though
How do you go from Across The Tracks to this in the span of 6 months
Some of their best work in decades
Solid rapping from Streetz alongside decent production from Daringer, album starts off a lil slow but picks up towards the middle. Cormega and Conway kill it on the features whilst I question why ScHoolboy and Mayhem are even on this record. Overall it's decent, about what I expected for this typa collab
This record actually shows a lot of potential from Polo. Lyricism and storytelling is strong for someone of his age and background. His voice is distinguishable and emotional. Honestly there were a couple of strong rapping performances from Polo on this record that impressed me. Unfortunately the record does take a dive in the second half with there not being many memorable moments or strong performances. The production on this isn't the greatest either, still though, Polo definitely made ... read more
Another great single, Rocky been killing it lately with these singles, can't wait for DBD.
I honestly don't understand why people are disappointed, Rocky is working and experimenting with so many different styles and people right now. The man is dropping a bunch of amazing music with variety
