I’ve seen them live twice now - I love overpass !! They definitely have a formula that really works for them however, some of the best parts of the album are where they break it
I love shame so much so yeah I’m probably a little biased but I think this album returns nicely to their electric punk rock sound they’re known for as opposed to the more introspective, ‘mellow’ tone of Food for Worms (food for worms is still goated though don’t get me wrong) however I just wish it felt more cohesive and not just a group of songs (a brilliant group of songs at that xx)
