19 hours later.... I witnessed Anthony Fantano and chat going BRUTAL on Alky Pink. Hearing this compared to other songs, he has a point. But at the same time, I dunno.

It's a solid song. But yeah, listening back... it really is interesting to hear this being played next to a Danny Brown feature, a weak yet average pop rock release... and now an Insocaf artist who collab'd with two other artists (one also being Insocaf)

It also makes me wonder about this song. Like it has an INSANE rating here... but this is primarily biased towards AOTY. Chat HATED this song. What if it got out to people elsewhere? How would it be received?

I'm gonna set aside a time so I can ACTUALLY listen to this song, and think about it.

45 minutes later... yea I overrated this a tad bit.

It's a really solid song. The beat is great. The switchups work.

It's more so that I would've set the vocals a tad bit higher because they sound a bit muffled. You don't NEED to over-volume it. It just doesn't sound that firm.

Ofc it's lo-fi so do whatever the fuck you want.

Otherwise, I dunno. I'm not bought into the massive bias AOTY has for Alky, even tho I respect him a lot.
