Besides maybe Rodeo, this is probably the most atmospheric trap album. Simultaneously, it is also easily one of the best collab trap albums, and features Metro Boomin's best production ever. The menacing and haunting atmosphere created by the horror movie samples and generelly quieter production is absolutely amazing, and 21 Savage is probably the best possible rapper to have on these beats. His monotonous flow feels like it is slowly creeping up on you, and Offset's much more energetic approach prevents it from becoming stale. Both also show a good topical focus as there are a lot of references to horror movies, but even when you have the typical 21 Savage Slaughter Gang raps, it fits nicely with the horrorcore atmosphere present on most songs.
