This is a really strange album, the first two songs barely even sound like they were even made by Esoteric. The opening track "Bereft" is a 20 minute psychedelic, ambient, and space rock based doom metal track with an incredibly confusing and disorienting atmosphere. A nice prog rock album that blends acoustic rock, prog rock, folk, orchestral elements and even elements of electronic music in some of the songs. Scariest fucking album I have heard in a while

This album is just crazy, crazy on another level. It's albums like this that inspire me to make big long behemoths of music.

Even though this album is kind of disjointed and feels much more like a demo then most of his other works, this album still holds up.
